ANZAC DAY started at 0700 hours at the Wahroonga Memorial when member George Katsoolis - as Vice President of the NSAA Northern Districts Branch - invited members to attend.
George seen here shading his eyes along with the Nashos has made this event a tremendous success over the past couple of years
A big crowd attends also when the service is repeated at 0815 at the Turramurra Memorial Gates.
RAAFA Nasho Chris Williams - second from right - attended, bringing along his very young grandaugher as well.
It was then off to the city for The March. RAAFA Executive, V.P. Bruce Weekley, President Gordon Johnstone, State Secretary Brian C. Morelli and VP Bill Schuberg.
A strong contingent of RAAF Nasho members formed up ready to march.
Looking splendid in their adopted uniform they waited for the order to move.
The band struck up and off they marched.
Led by President Dr. John Jacmon OAM SqdLdr (Ret'd) they kept the pace all way round the route.
Afterwards we 'formed up' at the Star bar and Grill for a good old chat.A great day. George Katsoolis should be congratulated for his efforts in taking a semi-Dawn Service to the suburbs and for his photos of the Rare Breed taken at the March.
